HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Weapons Duty Officer (WDO) to work at Kadena AFB. Okinawa, Japan.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Actual duties and responsibilities may vary depending upon assignments and other factors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The WDO shall be in place two (2) hours prior to first scheduled aircraft takeoff. The WDO shall remain on duty until 1.5 hours after the last scheduled aircraft land.
Execute duties IAW unit Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain accountability of all aircraft media and classified material assigned to the unit while on duty
Format and load aircraft media as requested.
Assemble media sign-out logs for each aircraft go.
Ensure sign-out procedures are complied with IAW squadron SOPs.
Ensure all pilots and WSOs comply with weapons read file signoffs prior to issuing media.
Execute Weapon Storage Vault (WSV) procedures IAW SOP.
Download WSV onto computer systems as requested.
Pass P5 puck data to the Top 3 for RTO operations.
Download weapons events and print employment sheets
JAAM shots as requested by flight leads
Assist the Weapons Officer and Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECO) with
OFP tracking, read-file management, and other tasks.
The WDO position shall be capable of being cross utilized in the PEX, UDM, Scheduler, Stan/Eval and Training positions, as well as the provide the additional functions highlighted in section 4 as applicable
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a Fighter Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval shop or, five years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron/Group/Wing Stan/Eval office.
- Minimum two years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary Stan/Eval programs.
- Secret Clearance. The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
